Hi Laura,
I have very low self esteem and am destroying myself with negative thoughts. How do I feel better about myself? I have done some bad things in the past and now it is all erupting in my mind and I can not take it. I would be very happy if you have any suggestions or what i should do. I am on an anti depressant and I really do not know if it is working. I thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
L.

Hello L.,

First, your anti-depressant is not doing all it needs to do. You are also having anxiety and you need to talk with your practitioner about adjusting medications and monitoring your reactions more closely. Second, there is a very simple and profound concept that heals guilt. It goes like this: When you know better, you do better. That’s it, like I said, simple and profound. None of us can change the past, the power exists only in the present moment. Third, in addition to your allopathic (prescription medications) care, there are some Bach Flower Essences that will also help you: Pine (for guilt), White Chestnut (for runaway thoughts), and Crab Apple (for feelings of shame). Rescue Remedy is great for stress as well.

I will also send you some peace and healing friend. Remember, a challenge like this is a great opportunity to use your willingness. Affirm “Every day, in every way, I get better and better. The past is past, I now claim my power in the present moment. I am safe. I go beyond past limitations and embrace my Divine Right to a peaceful life.”
